The topic of ‘Green building’
or ‘Sustainable construction’ is
increasingly gaining in focus among
builders and investors, and the
same applies to the health of
installers. In order to meet both
needs in terms of the installation
of wood flooring, MAPEI developed
a full range of dedicated products.
The laying of multilayer wood
flooring still determines how the
installation of the wood flooring
mainly is executed. Still there are
those who prefer to work with PU
wood-flooring adhesives, and that’s
why MAPEI developed the adhesive
ULTRABOND P980 1K for them.
The product can be applied directly
from the 15 kg aluminium bag to
the subfloor, and it is easy to work
with in the case of simultaneous
excellent ridge formation. Thanks
to a working time of over 100
minutes, cutting work can be
carried out without any urgency,
together with excellent workability
and improved cleanabilty on the
wooden flooring surface.
