CHIMIVER Innovation and diversification are the strengths which drive the Chimiver employees
on in their daily work. Our research concentrates not only on improving our existing
16 products, but also we’re looking constantly at general market demands and requests,
and that leads to the development of completely new products. The fact is that it’s clear
to us that a market which fails to develop and innovate cannot survive. The company is
also committed to diversification, a strategy which it started to implement a few years
ago. Consequently, Chimiver now has three business units at its disposal, one for the
parquet and wooden flooring sector, one for semi-soft floors, and a third one which
concentrates on resin floors. In all three business units they develop solutions and
products for both indoor and outdoor applications.

What are your short/mid-term objectives?
During its fifty years, our company has always kept its feet firmly on the floor, but at
the same time has always cast a glance abroad. Export
has become a major part of Chimiver’s success and is
still the target for the future. However, export needs
more than just good will. You also

good reputation as a
company, and the right
approach tailored to the
individual markets.
