BioLinea: all the beauty
of yesterday’s parquet
BioLinea is the Friulparchet “Bio”
Collection distinguished by natural
finishing applied by hand and
available in different colors. The
different types of working, stain,
and finish make BioLinea unique.
Specific working techniques have
been expressly chosen to bring out
all the wood’s grain clearly and help
give it the characteristic warmth,
in this way making parquet the
inimitable flooring material it is.
In step with today’s demand for
green architecture, the BioLinea
wood floor gives home the
ambience of other eras and the
elegance of traditional style but with
all the comfort and convenience of a
modern pre-finished floor. With all the value of traditional craftsmanship, every
lot produced is "as an end in itself" and therefore unlike any other. The BioLinea
Collection is available in different types of working: pre-polished, brushed,
hand-planing, sawn and woodworm effect, all exclusively in European Oak.
One particular member of the BioLinea Collection known as “Tabula Quercus”
is 100% composed of a single body of noble Slavonia Oak. www.friulparchet.eu
Cadorin
African Wengè planks, with traces
left by woodworm and insects,
sawn, antique effect
Not just Oak: Cadorin is always on the lookout for
new parquet solutions and so has widened its
range to include other, less well-known timbers of
great charm. African Wengè, with its
characteristically black colour, is proposed in an
unusual version with traces of woodworm and
insects, plus obvious saw marks. This is then
“packaged” with an antique finish that highlights
and accentuates the black/brown grain of this
warm welcoming African timber. The resulting
parquet fits in perfectly with pale shades and streaks of gray and hazelnut. African Wengè
Planks are found in the Noble Planks Collection, which includes elegant floorboards created
using fine timbers from around the world: Burmese Teak, Hard Maple, African Wengè and
Doussiè, European Pear, Acacia (European Rubinia), European and American Walnut are just
some of the more exclusive timbers that Cadorin selects for this line. The surface machining
and finishes are carefully studied to reveal the beauty of the wood, not to disguise or alter it,
while the use of natural oils and waxes or wax-effect varnishes ensure contact with the
wood, guaranteeing maximum practicality and easy upkeep. www.cadoringroup.it
