Free Time

Free Time is the new range of outdoor flooring that Gazzotti offers in three different versions: smooth planks with hidden fastening, smooth or reeded planks with visible fastening and square tiles. All Free Time products are made in Ipè, a wood known for its hardness and for its great ability to adapt to outdoor weather conditions. Smooth planks with hidden fastening are now also produced in heat-treated ash: a complete innovation, as the wood, heated to an extremely high temperature, undergoes premature ageing and molecular rupture that allows relative humidity to be constantly maintained and thus increases stability. Free Time floors must be treatedwith Sundeck Oil when they are installed to adequately protect the wood and later, when needed, to give the wood new life and protection (necessary quantity: about 1 liter for 15 m2). Products in the Free Time range can be installed on all subfloor types provided there is a suitable incline to drain rain water. If they are installed directly on a waterproof sheath, it is preferable to place the floating slats on the appropriate fixed or adjustable feet with rounded edges to avoid tearing the sheath. They can also be installed on grassy ground, after having rendered it flat and after having placed two layers of non-woven fabric to consolidate the ground and avoid the re-growth of grass between the planks.

Teak and thermo ash

CP Parquet has selected teak and thermo ash as the best types of wood in terms of resistance to basodiomycete xilophagous fungi. These types of wood are processed to produce boards of various length for random pattern laying, or in the case of thermo ash, in modular elements with dry interlocking joint.
The features: durability class 1; length mm 1500-1800-2400-2700-3000-3300 or mm 1000/2800; width mm 92-112 or mm 120/125; thickness mm 19 or mm 20; solid wood; rounded edges; groove on long sides. Some types of wood are also suitable for outdoor pavings.
