FEEL THE REAL WOOD

“Feel the real wood” is the motto of the European Veneer Convention and the accompanying showcase exhibition on the 14th and 15th May at the Interzum trade fair in Cologne (13th - 16th May 2009). The thematic emphasis is on emotion and elegance, attractiveness and design and the natural and sustainable qualities of veneer - all attributes which clearly underline the difference between the high-class material and its paper or film imitations. A second focus during the convention will be the high-tech qualities of modern veneers that ensure problem-free use in many applications.
Prominent experts from the worlds of architecture, interior finishing, and product design, as well as representatives from the veneer sector and veneer-processing industry will be highlighting the diversity of the real wood material.
Invitations to the European Veneer Convention have been extended to the furniture and timber sectors, as well as to architects, designers, interior constructors and joiners.
