Russia's largest interior décor showroom

Madex - Expo Design Center, inaugurated last spring, is the largest interior décor showroom in Russia and will cover an area of 18,000 sq m west of Moscow.
Designed to be an important commercial crossroads, Madex is the site of preference for the display of new design and informing visitors of all the latest news and innovation in the market. The idea came from similar structures opened in fashion capitals like Milano, London, New York, and Paris: all are functional venues where architects, designers, and decorators can work in synergy and meet their customers in total comfort, allowing them to directly inspect doors, stairs, parquet, furniture, and other interior décor elements.

DOMOTEX ASIA/CHINAFLOORS'S

With more than five months to go, Domotex asia/Chinafloors’s (DACF) expanded 110,000 square meter exhibitor space is already 75 percent sold putting the event on track to exceed last year’s record breaking mark of 40,414 visitors and 1,000 exhibitors.
The event takes place March 22-24th, 2011 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) and is preceded by The World Flooring Forum on March 21, also in Shanghai. DACF is the largest floor covering show held in Asia and the second largest in the world.
In reaction to last year’s unparalleled attendance and this year’s growing market demand, DACF increased floor space by nearly 13% for 2011 according to Kitty Bai, DACF Project Manager.
Several factors are creating the demand for exhibitor space according to Jim Gould, President of the U.S. based Floor Covering Institute and Strategic Director of the 2011 World Flooring Forum.
“China’s construction market is exploding at rates never before seen. Billions of square meters of new floor space is boosting its domestic demand for floor covering beyond levels that anyone could have predicted even two years ago. China now represents a place to both source and sell products and the international industry is naturally keen to explore ways to leverage that opportunity for themselves,” said Gould.
The international Wood Flooring Forum, which precedes DACF on March 21 in Shanghai, will address issues affecting the world’s wood flooring industry. The WFF will also introduce the UN’s International Year of the Forests 2011, a year-long celebration recognizing the importance of forests to all timber industries. After a morning general session and lunch, experts will address topics of interest to the global industry in smaller breakout sessions.

CHOOSE the original, CHOOSE success

Choose the original - choose success” is the claim in the Eumabois promotional campaign that defends “original products” against the arrival of low-price imitations.
This campaign conducted in the 2009-2010 two-year period featured seven different messages that present the seven strengths of the concept of originality: quality, hitech, know-how, reliability, safety, experience, and efficiency. “In addition to defending ‘made in Europe’ - explains Eumabois President Franz-Josef Buetfering - this campaign provides occasions for reflection and assessment of the concepts that a mature, conscious and responsible industry simply cannot do without”.
Eumabois is the Federation of national associations of woodworking machinery manufacturers of the 13 European nations: Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Slovakian Republic, Spain, and Switzerland.
Around 800 companies responsible for 56% of the world’s production in the sector are Eumabois members. All these companies are involved in the production of machines, systems and accessories for the working of wood and its by-products.
